Mini-grant Funded PRISM Courses

Teachers from PRISM districs in the SER taking the courses below will receive a $200 stipend from AASU/PRISM as well as addtional funding from the district PRISM representatives
  • May 5th - May 26th: SCED 7050 "Environmental Science for Teachers"
  • June 1st - June 15th: "Science Process Skills for Teachers"
  • July 30th - August 10th: "Constructing Geometric Understandings"

     

  • AASU Science & Math Courses for In-service Teachers

    Teachers from PRISM districts in the SER taking these courses will recieve a stipend of at least $200 from the district PRISM representatives. Amounts may vary by district.
  • June 1st - June 28th: MAED 7040 "Understanding Geometry"
  • June 1st - July 16th: MAED 7910 "Mathematics for Elementary Teachers"
  • June 1st - July 16th: MATH 5600 "Foundations of Mathematics"
  • June 1st - July 16th: MATH 5911 "Mathematics for Educators"
  • July 2nd - July 13th: MAED 5940 "Middle Grades General Mathematics"

     

AASU Improving Teacher Quality Programs

All teachers taking these courses will recieve a $300 stipend as well as free tuition.

Mini-grant Funded PRISM Workshops

The following workshops are free to teachers from PRISM districts in the SER. All materials needed for the sessions will be provided during the workshop.
